DLSS 4.5 and Path Tracing Coming To 007 First Light, CONTROL Resonant, Tides of Annihilation & More. Plus, DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Gen Available March 31

At CES 2026, we launched NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, which further enhances image quality on all GeForce RTX GPUs with a cutting-edge 2nd generation transformer model.

In a blind test with thousands of gamers, DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution beat native resolution in visual quality across all 6 games tested by ComputerBase. Loving this increased detail, users have applied DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution to hundreds of games via the NVIDIA app, and now, developers are bringing in-game support to INDUSTRIA 2, War Thunder, Where Winds Meet, and many other titles.

DLSS 4.5 also introduces 6X Multi Frame Generation for buttery smooth visuals, and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, enabling games and the NVIDIA app to adjust the frame multiplier during gameplay to hit the player’s target frame rate, or the refresh rate of their display.

From March 31st, GeForce RTX 50 Series gamers can accelerate their favorite games with DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and 6X Multi Frame Generation using the NVIDIA app. And upcoming games are incorporating the features, too, including 007 First Light, CONTROL Resonant, and Tides of Annihilation.

Below, you can check out 20 new DLSS and Path-Traced game announcements, new, exclusive DLSS game trailers, and more. In summary:

DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation Available March 31st

DLSS 4.5 introduces and enhances several features, making your experiences even better:

  • DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution improves image quality
  • DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation intelligently adjusts the number of generated frames during gameplay to reach a user’s desired frame rate, striking the perfect balance between frame rate, image quality and responsiveness
  • DLSS 4.5 Multi Frame Generation 6X mode increases 4K frame rates in path-traced titles, such as 007 First Light. Paired with NVIDIA Reflex, it generates these additional frames with minimal impact to responsiveness
  • DLSS 4.5’s Frame Generation model update also enhances in-game user interfaces by incorporating additional engine data, improving visual quality and clarity of static user interface elements

DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution is already available for all GeForce RTX gamers in the NVIDIA app, enabling users to upgrade hundreds of games.

On March 31st, as part of our next opt-in NVIDIA app beta, overrides for DLSS 4.5’s Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Multi Frame Generation 6X Mode will be released for GeForce RTX 50 Series owners. To opt-in to the beta, go to Settings > About in the NVIDIA app. An official release will follow at a later date.

GeForce Game Ready Driver 595.79 WHQL, or newer, will be required to use all new features.
