A total of 35 teams will take part in PHASE 1 of the GeForce Cup. Only one Team will be chosen to represent each listed café after tryouts which will be hosted by each of the participating cafe.
All participating players must be residents of South Asia and have a passport (if you don’t have one during registration, please apply for one ASAP).
You must have an active CS:GO with at least 150 hours and no prior bans on the steam account you use for registration.
Each team must have 5 players and 1 stand-in player (just in case) but cannot be an existing player in the tournament. (even if that player was eliminated in an earlier stage).
ALL SELECTED TEAMS MUST PLAY ALL GEFORCE CUP MATCHES FROM THE CAFES THAT THEY ARE REPRESENTING AND IF FOUND GUILTY, YOUR TEAM WOULD BE DQ'DGAME.
Game Format
Phase two of GFC 2019 India will be a Best of 1 double-elimination bracket.
Finals - Best of 3.
The tournament will use the latest available version of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

All adjustments and settings should follow the principles of fair play. There will be strict punishment if players are judged by the marshalls or committee to have been behaving unfairly.

Map veto: Coin Flip.
Starting side will be chosen by a knife round. (for Best of 1 series).
Rounds: 30 Rounds (Fifteen as each side[Terrorists & Counter-Terrorists]).
Victory Conditions: The first team to win 16 rounds wins the map and the round is over.
In case of a tie after the regulation rounds end (15-15), 6 extra rounds will be played. 3 rounds as Terrorists and 3 rounds as Counter-Terrorists. First team to win 4 rounds wins the map. [Repeat if necessary].
Match Day
Team captains and players are expected to report 15 minutes before match time.
A maximum of 5 minutes will be provided for warm up.
All matches will be hosted on dedicated tournament servers (AWS) by the organizers.
During a Game.
If the server crashes before three rounds have been completed (in a half), the server must be restarted and the half’s score will be reset to 0-0.
If a player disconnects mid-round, the server will be paused at the end of the current round.
A team can request for a round restore in cases of disconnects and technical error only if there is no damage taken by any member of the same team in that particular round.
If players are found cheating/stream sniping, the Player/Team/Cafe will be immediately disqualified from the tournament and all future tournaments hosted by Nvidia India.
Foul language,offensive and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated from any player and will result in the following:
First Warning that the team captain has to acknowledge
Second Warning will lead to forfeiting the game
Third Warning will lead to disqualification from the tournament
Tournament Admin
All participants must adhere to the decisions and rules of the tournament organizers, admins, and referees. All decisions are final, except in cases where the option to appeal is clearly stated. Conversations, either verbal or written, between organizers, admins, or referees, and participants are confidential. Publicly posting or sharing these conversations with outside parties is strictly forbidden, unless permission is obtained.
