Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.0 Launches June 17th, Adding DLSS 4.5 & Ray Tracing

Each week, new games and apps integrating NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex, and advanced ray-traced effects are released or announced, delivering the definitive PC experience for GeForce RTX players.

This week, Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.0 adds DLSS and ray tracing to the popular game, and Empulse launches with DLSS.

Additionally, Squad upgraded its DLSS integration, and Reaper Actual is available now, with DLSS that can be upgraded to 4.5 via the NVIDIA app.

Zenless Zone Zero is HoYoverse's urban fantasy ARPG, in which a calamity called the "Hollows" has destroyed modern society. New Eridu, the last remaining metropolis, has risen against the odds amidst this destructive catastrophe to become the last bastion of modern civilization. In the game, players assume the role of a "Proxy", accompanied by unique characters as they explore Hollows, battle enemies, complete commissions, and reveal the mysteries behind New Eridu.

Tomorrow, June 17th, sees the launch of Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.0, "A Sleepwalker's Confession".

To treat a mysterious Ether energy that has once again spiraled out of control within their body, the Proxies are invited by the Mayor of New Eridu to the enigmatic restricted zone — Roscaelifer. Guided by Velina, Administrative Director of the External Strategy Department (ESD), the Proxies arrive at the main island as special transfer students and gradually uncover the secret behind a mysterious power known as Pyrois hidden within them.

Version 3.0 also introduces new exploration experiences, new activities, new gameplay mechanics and enhancements, and will see the release of S-Rank Wind attribute Anomaly Agent Velina, and S-Rank Fire attribute Stun Agent Norma, while the Phaethon faction Agent Pyrois and 1,600 Polychromes will be gifted to all Proxies as special Season 3 launch rewards. Additionally, Zenless Zone Zero will officially launch on Steam on June 17th, with cross-platform data sharing supported.

On the PC, Version 3.0 also sees the introduction of ray-traced reflections, ambient occlusion and global illumination lighting, accelerated and enhanced by DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation, with support for Multi Frame Generation promised for a future update.

Empulse is 1047 Games’ fast-paced 6v6 movement shooter. Wallrun forwards and backwards, swing with a grapple hook, launch off Holojumps, and alter surfaces with P.A.I.N.T. bombs to gain tactical advantage. Every district in Freehold gives you the surfaces, the verticality, and the routes to chain together movement and find your flowstate.

Reaper Actual recently launched into Early Access, and can be downloaded via the game’s official website, the Epic Games Store, or Steam. And PC latency can be reduced using NVIDIA Reflex, potentially giving you a competitive advantage on the persistent battlefield.

Via the NVIDIA app, players can upgrade to the latest Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution models, for even faster frame rates on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, and enhanced visuals on all GeForce RTX GPUs.
