This Year’s Highly Anticipated New GeForce Laptop Lineup Is Available Starting Today

Earlier this month, the newest thin and light GeForce laptops were unveiled, including “the most powerful gaming laptops ever”, powered by GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER and RTX 2070 SUPER GPUs. Over 100 designs with GeForce GPUs are coming from every major OEM, including GeForce RTX models, starting at $999. Press sites, such as Digital Trends, are buzzing over these “supremely thin-and-light gaming laptops”, the first of which are available starting today.

Laptops available today include the ultra-thin ROG Zephyrus G14 from ASUS, which packs a powerful 8-core processor and a GeForce RTX 2060 in a package that’s just 3.5lbs. ASUS is also releasing their rugged TUF Gaming A15 notebook that features both GeForce RTX and GeForce GTX GPUs, and high-refresh 144Hz screens. And Gigabyte’s new Aero 15 OLED, an RTX Studio laptop, takes advantage of technologies such as Max-Q Dynamic Boost to maximise performance on its beautiful 4K OLED screen.

You’ll also find a pair of ultra-high refresh rate notebooks available starting today. MSI’s newly-redesigned GS66 Max-Q and Creator 17 laptops pack the latest GeForce RTX SUPER GPUs and 10th Gen Intel CPUs to drive their speedy 300 Hz Full HD displays. Razer’s Blade 15 Advanced has also received an upgrade, featuring the latest GeForce RTX SUPER GPUs and 10th Gen Intel CPUs to power a 300Hz Full HD display. Or opt for the RTX Studio model, which features a stunning 4K OLED touchscreen.

Max-Q GeForce-powered laptops promise much faster performance, which is “music to the ears of laptop PC gamers”, according to Laptop Mag. This is due in large part to new Max-Q technologies that boast up to 2X the efficiency of first-generation Max-Q laptops. For example, the new Max-Q Dynamic Boost automatically optimises GPU and CPU power balancing, for up to a 10% boost in performance on supported models.
