Our new GeForce Game Ready Driver optimizes your system for Halo: Campaign Evolved, the Gears of War: E-Day Multiplayer Beta, and Mistfall Hunter, all launching in the near future with DLSS.
Fourteen years before the original Gears of War, join Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago in a gripping origin-story campaign as the Locust Horde first erupt from below, igniting a desperate fight for survival. Rally your squad and fight on in multiplayer with a reimagination of Gears’ iconic PvE mode, Horde Siege, or go head-to-head with a refined Versus PvP.
Built from the ground up with Unreal Engine 5 and DirectX 12, Gears of War: E-Day delivers unprecedented graphical fidelity by leveraging the engine’s latest technologies. MegaLights powers performant rendering of ray-traced shadows from up to 100 light sources, while Lumen enables ray-traced global illumination lighting and ambient occlusion shading. To further increase fidelity and player immersion, E-Day also leverages Nanite to increase object detail and fidelity by up to 100X in comparison to Gears 5. And other new engine advancements enable real-time destruction, widescale use of volumetric effects and particles, and larger, more explosive set pieces. Combined, these technologies deliver players the most technically ambitious and visceral Gears of War entry to date.
Ahead of the game’s October 6th release, pre-order customers and PC Game Pass subscribers will receive Early Access to the Gears of War: E-Day multiplayer Open Beta beginning August 6th.
The PC beta will include DLSS Super Resolution, alongside NVIDIA Reflex, ensuring image quality and frame rates are at their best during the preview. And in the full game, GeForce RTX gamers will have access to the complete suite of DLSS 4.5 technologies, further accelerating frame rates:

To further elevate your experience, upgrade to DLSS 4.5 with Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and our latest Super Resolution models via the NVIDIA app, upgrading image quality, and increasing max frame rates.
In the wake of an epic war between gods and outer gods, all deities have fallen. Their blood - the Gyldenmist - has become a corrosive force sweeping across the land, Weavereach warping the souls of the living and driving them to madness and monstrous mutation. Civilization clings to the edges of ruin. But from the shadows emerges hope: a mysterious figure named Dew, who possesses the power to resurrect fallen heroes and grant them immortal bodies. These reborn champions, called Gyldhunters, are tasked with a dangerous mission: venture into the heart of corruption, battle the twisted creatures spawned by the Gyldenmist, and harvest Gyldenblod to heal the world's broken Web of Fate.
Bellring Games’ Mistfall Hunter blends the nail-biting tension of extraction gameplay with fluid, precision-based action combat. Players select from six distinct classes: Mercenary, Sorcerer, Blackarrow, Shadowstrix, Seer and Withered Knight. Each has unique weapons, skills, and playstyles. Whether hunting solo or coordinating with up to two companions, every raid is a high-stakes gamble. Enemies emerge from both the corrupted wilderness and rival Gyldhunters seeking the same spoils. Defeat means losing everything you've gathered. To secure a safe return to the Windrest camp, Gyldhunters must track down extraction opportunities hidden within the realm and ring the bell known as Soul of Return to escape. However, the Gyldenmist may conceal more than one way out.
GeForce RTX gamers playing Mistfall Hunter when it launches July 29th can activate DLSS Super Resolution, Multi Frame Generation and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, maximizing frame rates, with NVIDIA Reflex reducing PC latency for more responsive gameplay. Additionally, GeForce RTX gamers can leverage the power of dedicated GPU Ray Tracing Cores to performantly render Mistfall Hunter’s ray-traced reflections and shadows.
