Installation Notes

  • This is a stand-alone beta package containing IDE drivers only. This package should be installed over an existing successful install of the Unified Driver Package (UDP) containing all nForce driver components.

Release Notes

  • This is a release package of nForce IDE drivers for 32-bit Windows 2000 and XP systems.
  • This package includes support for all nForce IDE features. This includes:
    • Parallel ATA controllers
    • Serial ATA controllers*
    • NVIDIA RAID functions*
  • Supported products for this package include:
    • nForce2 and nForce2 400
    • nForce2 Ultra and nForce2 Ultra 400
    • nForce2 400R* and nForce2 Ultra 400Gb*
    • nForce3 150 and nForce3 PRO 150
    • nForce3 250*, nForce3 250Gb* and nForce3 PRO 250*
  • The following Operating Systems are supported in this release:
    • Windows XP
    • Windows 2000
  • There is no support for Windows XP 64-bit or Windows 2003 Server 64-bit systems in this package.
  • Windows 98SE and Windows ME systems must use the Microsoft in-the-box IDE driver.
