SANTA CLARA, CA — November 9, 2000 — NVIDIA® Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA) today announced that Compaq® Computer Corporation (NYSE: CPQ) now offers the NVIDIA Quadro2 MXR™ workstation graphics processing unit (GPU) for the Compaq Deskpro Workstation AP250, Professional Workstation AP550, and Professional Workstation SP750. The Quadro2 MXR offers many advanced features for professionals, including NVIDIA's TwinView™ architecture for dual-display support, Digital Vibrance Control (DVC) for fine-tuned workspace color adjustment, and the NVIDIA Shading Rasterizer (NSR) that enables single-pass advanced per-pixel shading, as well as software optimizations for Adobe® Photoshop®, AutoCAD®, 3D Studio MAX®, Maya®, SoftIMAGE®|3D and more.

Within the coming months, Compaq also plans to make NVIDIA's high-performance workstation accelerator, the Quadro2 Pro™, available to its customers as a configure-to-order option.
