NVIDIA Recognized by Computer Gaming World for Technological Excellence in 3D Graphics

 
 
SANTA CLARA, CA - MARCH 4, 1999--NVIDIA(TM) Corporation (Nasdaq:NVDA) today announced that they were the recipient of the Special Premier Award for Hardware Development at the 1999 Premier Awards from Computer Gaming World (CGW) held in San Francisco on February 22, 1999. This unique award recognizes NVIDIA for having the best 3D graphics hardware technology throughout the RIVA™ family of products, which includes the RIVA 128(TM), RIVA 128ZX(TM) and the RIVA TNT(TM).

The Premier Awards from CGW identifies the industry's best game for each genre as well as the best game-related hardware primarily based on: the advancement of the gaming experience, performance within game genre or hardware component standards, and quality of innovation, play balance and aesthetic presentation.
