SANTA CLARA, CA — FEBRUARY 6, 2002 — NVIDIA® Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA) announced today that its GeForce4™ MX 440 graphics processing unit (GPU) is available as an upgrade option in all of Hewlett-Packard Company’s configure-to-order HP Pavilion home PCs. NVIDIA will usher in a new level of performance and flexibility to mainstream personal computers through the delivery of stunning graphics horsepower and compelling features previously available only on expensive high-end computing systems.
The GeForce4 MX 440, the newest addition to NVIDIA’s award-winning line of GPUs, significantly raises the performance bar on mainstream desktop PCs through the integrated delivery of high-end graphics and feature-rich multimedia applications. GeForce4 MX is the ultimate multidisplay GPU and brings a new level of graphics performance and flexibility to the mainstream desktop PC. GeForce4 MX GPUs include advanced features such as:
