SANTA CLARA, CA—OCTOBER 21, 2003—NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, today announced that the Company’s highly successful GeForce™ FX Go series of graphics processing units (GPUs) has been selected for five new notebooks in the Toshiba Satellite series. 

“NVIDIA graphics deliver breakthrough 3D imagery and video playback that our customers desire whether watching a DVD movie, playing computer games or conducting a presentation,” said Carl Pinto, director of product marketing, Toshiba Digital Products Division, a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc.  “Combined with the wide-screen displays in the new Satellite notebooks and the graphics performance from NVIDIA, consumers and business users alike will experience new ways to enjoy multimedia applications while on the road, in the home or at the office.” 

The five Toshiba Satellite notebooks include:

  • Two thin and light Intel ® Centrino™-based notebooks, the Satellite® M35-S359 and the Satellite M30-S309, both featuring the GeForce FX Go5200
  • Toshiba’s premiere multimedia notebook, the Satellite p25-S509, featuring the GeForce FX Go5200
  • The Satellite P10-S429 and Satellite P15-S409, featuring the GeForce FX Go5100
