SANTA CLARA, CA — JULY 8, 2002 — NVIDIA® Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA), the world leader in visual graphics solutions, today announced that its NVIDIA Quadro(R) family of workstation solutions deliver high-performance graphics support for high-end workstations based on the Intel(R) Itanium(R) 2 processor. NVIDIA has optimized its NVIDIA Quadro professional graphics solutions to take advantage of the performance and features of the Intel Itanium 2 processor.

Workstations featuring the combined processing power of NVIDIA Quadro4 Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) and the Intel Itanium 2 processors are now available from HP.
The Quadro4 family is a complete, top-to-bottom family of workstation graphics solutions comprised of the Quadro4 XGL series for 3D computer-aided design and digital content creation applications, and the Quadro4 NVS series for industry-leading acceleration of professional 2D applications.
