General Hints and Tips:

Don't run out in the heat of battle, wait and listen for incoming footsteps. You'll live longer.

Bashing someone in the head as they round a corner has less of a chance to miss than a bullet has (and it makes a nice THUD sound).

Never run in a straight line.

Always check your 6.

Practice, practice, practice…

Fire in bursts of two or three to maintain the accuracy of automatic weapons.

If you use your entire ammo clip, switch weapons instead of waiting to reload. This will buy you the extra split second that you may need to take out the enemy.

Always plan an escape route when battling.  Initiate fire from near a doorway or piece of rubble which you can use to take cover if needed.

Use the smoke grenades to cover your advance, especially when you’re coming out of a choke point

The rifles are very powerful weapons, if used well; it can be your best friend and your enemy’s worst nightmares

The panzerschreck and bazooka are excellent for mid range combat, but accuracy is somewhat unpredictable when it comes to extreme, long range shots.

Character Model selection is important. Make sure you pick the right model that can blend into the environment. This increases your chances of living longer.

Carrying the regular rifle will increase your speed, which makes it the weapon of choice if you want to stealthily enter the enemy’s base and plant a bomb.

Always, take the time to grab the portable MG42 and place it in hard to spot corners. When the enemy comes in to view… let him have it!

Malta specific:

Close the main gate using the switch box to prevent enemies from advancing from the bridge. Be careful, enemies have other options including underground passageways for entering your side of the map.

If you must jump from a high place, try to land in water -- you'll receive less damage there (if any at all).

Use higher elevations for your advantages. Climb up the towers and buildings and scout for the enemy below

Destroy a section of the wall near the river to provide additional access to the plaza.

Can't make it through the other side without getting sniped? Look for underground caverns and trenches to sneak up on the enemy.

Need other ways to get in your enemies' side? Try blowing up walls to create more openings

The panzerschreck, bazooka, and grenade launcher are excellent for blasting holes and entry ways into the enemy’s base.

There are more than one ways to cross the river safely, know them well, it may safe your life

Mortars can be used to destroy walls

Always, take the time to grab the portable MG42 and place it in hard to spot corners. When the enemy comes in to view… let him have it!

Try to snipe from within the enemy base. Chances are he won’t be expecting it.
