FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION Release Date and System Requirements Revealed; Benchmark Coming Soon

Last August we revealed that FINAL FANTASY XV was coming to PC in 2018 as “FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION”, and that in addition to supporting NVIDIA Ansel and ShadowPlay Highlights, it was loaded with graphics-enhancing NVIDIA GameWorks effects.

Today, we can reveal that a FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION Benchmark will launch February 1st, followed by the complete game on March 6th. For all the details, as well as the official system requirements and news about the game’s pricing, keep reading.

The PC edition of FINAL FANTASY XV features a huge suite of graphics options that can be configured to increase or decrease fidelity beyond the levels seen on consoles. This enables gamers with older PCs to play the game, and those with newer systems to crank up the settings to enjoy greater levels of detail, improved effects, and our NVIDIA GameWorks enhancements.

To help PC gamers get ready for the release of FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION, Square Enix has drawn up three specifications that ensure a smooth, playable experience throughout the duration of the lengthy game:

Use NVIDIA Ansel To Capture Custom Screenshots From The FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION Benchmark

Once you’ve run the FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION Benchmark and shared your results, head back in and press Alt+F2 to activate NVIDIA Ansel. You’ll be given control of the camera to frame and set up your own screenshots, and by using the Ansel control panel on the left of the screen you can add picture-adjusting filters and make other tweaks.
