Research: Anqi's research aims to bridge the gap between robotics research and applications by exploiting complementary tools from machine learning and control theory. Specific research topics include providing formal safety and performance guarantees for robotic systems, using learning techniques for modeling and control, and developing efficient distributed optimization and control algorithms for multi-agent systems.

Bio: Anqi Li is a PhD student in the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington working with professors Byron Boots and Magnus Egerstedt (Georgia Institute of Technology). Prior to this, she was a Robotics PhD student at Georgia Institute of Technology. She received her M.S. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University in 2017 and B.S. in Automation from Zhejiang University, China in 2015.
