Game Ready For Apex Legends: Season 4 and A New Metro Exodus Expansion

Apex Legends and Metro Exodus, two award winning titles, are receiving major updates in the coming week, and with our new driver installed you’ll receive optimized performance in each.

Apex Legends, one of the most popular battle royale games, begins Season 4, with a new champion, new features, map changes, and a variety of other additions that’ll keep the 3-player shooter fresh and fun.

Metro Exodus, meanwhile, is launching Sam’s Story, a major expansion that follows Sam, the U.S. soldier trapped in Russia when the bombs fell, who subsequently joins Artyom and co. on their adventures in the eponymous Metro. Described as a sandbox-survival adventure, Sam’s Story takes place after the events of Metro Exodus, and sees Sam attempt to make his way home to America.

Max Frame Rate and VRSS Feature Improvements

In our previous driver, we introduced two new NVIDIA Control Panel features: Max Frame Rate, for optimizing performance and power use, and Variable Rate Supersampling (VRSS), a VR game image quality enhancement.

In our new driver, we are enhancing their functionality based on your feedback. For Max Frame Rate, the FPS range is now 20 to 1000 FPS, and for VRSS, you can now also enable the feature on the Global tab, automatically activating it in all supported games.
