FrameView 1.8 Release Notes

Below is a list of the following changes in the FrameView 1.8 release.

DLSS Multi-Frame Generation (MFG) Multiplier
FrameView now reports the DLSS Multi-Frame Generation (MFG) multiplier running in the background. This feature is particularly useful for users utilizing DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Frame Generation.

  • Overlay & Logging: The MFG figure is displayed in the overlay next to "FPS" and is included in logs to help graph the relationship between MFG and FPS.
  • Real-time Analysis: Users can instantly see if frame generation is active and determine the ratio of generated frames to rendered frames (e.g., 100 FPS with MFG 2X indicates 50 rendered and 50 generated frames).
  • Note: Currently, FrameView only supports detection for NVIDIA’s DLSS Multi-Frame Generation technologies.
