Tegra Prototype Instructions

Welcome! You have just received your NVIDIA Tegra prototype featuring the next generation Kal-El processor and are eager to start working with it. This page will provide you with the information you need to get started.

Your NVIDIA Tegra developer platform comes with Google’s Android Honeycomb installed. To get started quickly with Android development, NVIDIA has put together an installable package with all the required software components. The developers technology team has also put online a series of webinars.

Development tools

• Tegra Android Development Pack: One stop download for setting up your Android development workspace. The installer provides the Eclipse IDE, downloads the Android SDK + NDK, and all the other tools you need. 
   
• Tegra Android Toolkit: This toolkit provides sample code and profiling tools.
   
• Linux 4 Tegra: If Android is not the platform you are looking for, we also support Linux. Check the Linux for Tegra page for more details.

Learning

• Webinars: The NVIDIA developer zone has a a few webinars to help you with debugging and profiling. From the webinars page, select the Android filter and you will find the latest content. We link the most relevant ones here (.mp4 files):

FCam and OpenCV
