SANTA CLARA, CA—SEPTEMBER 25, 2006—NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in programmable graphics processor technologies, today announced that the Company's NVIDIA nForce Professional core-logic solutions have been selected to power a variety of AMD Opteron™ x86-based platforms from HP, including the HP xw9400 workstation and the HP ProLiant DL145 and DL585 rack-optimized servers; as well as the HP ProLiant BL685 server blade.
The NVIDIA nForce Professional series of core logic solutions is designed to address reliability, availability and serviceability requirements of the enterprise market while providing uncompromising system, PCI Express, and Gigabit Ethernet performance.
