As part of NVIDIA’s commitment to the Environmental Protection Agency’s Climate Leaders Program, we pledge to reduce U.S. GHG emissions by 9 percent per square foot of non-data center space and 9 percent in Power Usage Effectiveness for data centers from 2007 to 2012. Our goal is to target real reduction opportunities and for 2009 our focus is on improving energy efficiency within NVIDIA’s US computer labs. As well, we continue to track increased efficiencies in our data centers as we upgrade our servers.Key Initiatives
Electronics Industry Citizenship Coalition – NVIDIA joins the world's major electronics brands and their suppliers to improve conditions in the electronics supply chain by consolidating and standardizing compliance, audit and reporting efforts. EPA Climate Leaders Program – NVIDIA partners with the EPA to help us understand our Green House Gas emissions and implement a plan to reduce our global footprint. Sony Green Partner Program – Sony recognizes NVIDIA for its environmental systems and energy saving products. Santa Clara Green Business – NVIDIA is in compliance with local policies regarding recycling, waste management and other environmental practices. ISO 14001 – NVIDIA meets international quality standards for its environmental management systems and received zero findings during its final audit. |
