Rainbow Six Siege Players Get Ready To Level Up -- NVIDIA Reflex Added to Test Servers

In nearly all sports -- golf, racing, football, etc -- the right gear can help competitors achieve their full potential. The same is true for esports -- better GPUs, displays, peripherals, and good software can help you respond more quickly and precisely to opponents.

Rainbow Six Siege is one of the most popular esports around, with frequent content updates including new map redesigns and Operators. Rainbow Six Siege is not your typical shooter, favoring strategic and tactical gameplay over a ‘run-and-gun’ style. Reaction time is measured in milliseconds, and is critical to a player's success. Being a fraction of a second late on the trigger is the difference between your digital life and death, so reducing system latency can be a huge boon for Rainbow Six Siege players.

Later today, NVIDIA Reflex support will be added to the Technical Test Server for Rainbow Six Siege. With NVIDIA Reflex, system latency is significantly reduced, making it easier to target enemies and improving your competitiveness.

Rainbow Six Siege supports NVIDIA Reflex in the Vulkan version of the game and provides a free upgrade to a huge number of GeForce gamers by reducing latency and improving responsiveness for GeForce GTX 10 Series and newer GPUs.  In fact, latency reductions are typically better for lower end hardware.

Enabled by a simple toggle in the display settings menu, NVIDIA Reflex reduces system latency by up to 25%, giving you a split-second advantage in the heat of the moment.

If you wish to help test the new update and the included NVIDIA Reflex support, open the Ubisoft Connect app and download the “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege - Test Server” client using a Ubisoft account that owns a copy of Rainbow Six Siege, and launch the Vulkan version of the game. Stay tuned to NVIDIA social channels for updates on the public release.
