SANTA CLARA, CA — October 23, 2000 — NVIDIA® Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA) today announced that NEC will feature the NVIDIA Vanta™ graphics processor in the NEC Value Star Slim Tower desktop PC for the mainstream PC market in Japan. NEC will integrate the award-winning NVIDIA Vanta graphics solution on the system motherboard to bring industry leading graphics performance and quality to this NEC desktop family. NEC chose the 16MB configuration of the NVIDIA Vanta for its aggressively priced combination of breakthrough 3D and industry-leading 2D graphics.
