REDMOND, WA─SEPTEMBER 30, 2003─NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, today announced that its comprehensive product suite for Microsoft® Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2004-based PCs is the technology of choice for the majority of desktop and notebook Media Center PC models being introduced for the fall and holiday buying seasons. NVIDIA technology is tailor-made for Media Center PCs, powering a variety of multimedia applications, such as TV recording, DVD playback, digital photos, music, video editing and 3D games.

NVIDIA hardware extends the Media Center experience by enhancing critical visual and audio capabilities. For Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004, NVIDIA added support for crisp TV and DVD playback, through custom control settings accessed through the Media Center user interface using a remote control. These settings, exposed only through NVIDIA’s new software suite, give consumers more flexibility and control over their entertainment experience.
