Jay Puri — Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales

Mr. Puri joined NVIDIA in 2005 after a 22-year career at Sun Microsystems, where he held positions in sales, marketing, and general management. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Asia-Pacific Group, managing all of Sun's business in Asia-Pacific, including Japan, Korea, China, ASEAN, Australia, and India. Before that he was Vice President, Worldwide Sales for Software & Technology, President of Nihon Sun K.K. and Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing. During his tenure, Sun grew from 25 employees and no revenue to 35,000 employees and $12 billion in revenue. Prior to Sun, Mr. Puri held marketing, management consulting and product development positions at Hewlett-Packard, Booz Allen & Hamilton and Texas Instruments. Mr. Puri holds an M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School, an M.S.E.E. degree from Caltech, and a B.S.E.E. degree (with High Distinction) from the University of Minnesota.
