Jay Puri — Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales

Jay Puri joined NVIDIA in 2005 in his current role after a 22-year career at Sun Microsystems, where he held positions in sales, marketing, and general management. Most recently, he served as Sun’s senior vice president, Asia-Pacific Group, managing its business in Asia-Pacific, including Japan, Korea, China, ASEAN, Australia, and India. Previously, he was vice president, worldwide sales for software & technology, president of Nihon Sun KK and vice president of worldwide product marketing. During his tenure, Sun grew from 25 employees and no revenue to 35,000 employees and $12 billion in revenue. Previously, he held marketing, management consulting and product development positions at HP, Booz Allen & Hamilton and Texas Instruments. Puri holds a BSEE degree (with High Distinction) from the University of Minnesota, an MBA degree from Harvard Business School, an MSEE degree from California Institute of Technology.
