NVIDIA RTX Enterprise New Feature Branch Driver

Release 530 is a New Feature Branch (NFB) driver. NFB drivers provide users the flexibility to try new features made available outside the launch cycle of longer-lived Production Branch drivers. NFB drivers are tested for workstation environments and are recommended for early adopter users who need specific features mentioned in the release highlights or release notes.

For the most stable and fully supported enterprise driver please use the Production Branch graphics drivers downloadable from the NVIDIA driver download page.

New Features in Version R530 U1
  • NVIDIA GPUDirect - added Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM)-based support (via Direct3D 12 and Mellanox Network Interface Card) for reading/writing to GPU framebuffer memory
  • NVIDIA Quadro Sync II – enhanced support added to enable external synchronization signals to be multiplied/divided by integer values
  • NVIDIA RTX Video Super Resolution (VSR)– provides ability to upscale video content viewed through Chromium-based browsers for enjoying higher-quality video
    • VSR option will be listed in NVIDIA Control Panel having Ampere generation, or later, GPU architectures
    • Updated Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers will only support VSR, provided preferred graphics is NVIDIA processor

  • [CUDA][OpenCL]: multiple registrations of the same resource allowed
  • [Dassault][3DExperience]: corrupt/dark TextureViews before OpenGL-Vulkan context switch
  • [Beamr][CABR]: iteration frames contain errors when PTD=0
  • [Derivative][Touchdesigner]: incorrect results with GPU to CPU transfer when multi-GPU Mosaic is active
  • [Blender]: building AS with zero-scaled mesh and rotating SRT motion transform hangs indefinitely
