Three kinds of nodes are supported on GCP. This page explains their features/cost/performance.


Compute Node

Description

4 P100

This is the most cost-effective node while sacrificing the performance marginally. User can run all Parabricks accelerated software except for DeepVariant.

4 V100

This node is very cost-effective and has high performance. User can run all Parabricks accelerated software on this node

8 V100

This is the fastest node on GCP for Parabricks software and can run all Parabricks accelerated software
