About This Report

This, the NVIDIA 2012 Global Citizenship Report, covers NVIDIA Corporation's economic, social, and environmental performance for our fiscal year 2012, which ended January 29, 2012. We report our performance annually via our website. Environmental metrics are reported for the calendar year 2011.

The report includes consolidated economic, financial, and social information for our global operations. The environmental information contained in this report covers global operations for energy, water and greenhouse gas, and our Santa Clara, Calif., headquarters for waste. In 2011 we implemented a carbon tracking and energy management system, which enabled us to better analyze and report on energy and greenhouse gas data from our international operations. We are reporting on those entities over which we exercise operational control, including subsidiaries and leased facilities (except for shared space).

With the exception of our reporting of greenhouse gas data for our international operations, described above, there have been no significant changes during the reporting period with regard to the scope, boundary, or measurement methods applied in this report.

We determined the content for this report based on conversations among management and with customers, suppliers, and employees, as well as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G3 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines (GRI G3). We have self-declared a GRI application level of B+.

The GRI index, which contains standard disclosures, can be found here. We have engaged PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) to provide limited assurance on our 2011 global Scope 1 and 2 Greenhouse Gas emissions under the AICPA attestation standards. The assertion and assurance report is available in the Emissions Assurance section.

We welcome your feedback on this report and our performance. Please send your comments and suggestions to globalcitizenship@nvidia.com or write to us at:
