Compute the Cure
An NVIDIA Foundation initiative to support cancer researchers in their search for a cure and engage NVIDIA employees in cancer prevention and awareness activities.

Operation Kizuna
In response to the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, the NVIDIA Foundation and employees donated $2.75 million to support relief and rebuilding in affected areas.

United States
Santa Clara
- Education: Sponsored Silicon Valley school through City Year San Jose; Funded AmeriCorps volunteer for Schmahl Science Workshop; 31 employees participated in We Teach Science program, mentoring students in math and science; 450 employees volunteered to assemble classroom kits for math and science students; Donated 2,000+ NVIDIA GeForce cards to FIRST Robotics
- Health: A team of 50 raised $28,000 and participated in American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk; 96 employees raised $46,500 during Movember fundraiser for men’s health
- Human Services: Organized monthly volunteer activities including food sorting, tree planting, assembling educational kits; Donated $22,000 to Family Giving Tree through annual holiday charity auction: Donated $25,000 to Second Harvest Food Bank through annual holiday charity auction; Provided used bikes to Good Karma Bikes
- Project Inspire: 1,500 employees, family and community members volunteered more than 10,000 hours to transform an urban farm for the fifth anniversary of Project Inspire

- Education: 240 employees donated 203 backpacks during back-to-school drive; 12 employees revamped local school for the fifth anniversary of participating in Give to Austin
- Health: 10+ employees raised $4,300 during Movember fundraiser for men’s health

- Human Services: 20 employees raised more than $34,000, making them the top fundraiser, for the Corporate Food Fight Challenge for the Food Bank of Larimer County

- Human Services: Paris office held second season of LAN video game competition series for physically disabled teenagers and donated €200 ($250) in toys to Secours Populaire for holiday toy drive
- Health: Eight employees in Sophia completed charity run and raised €795 ($1,050) to help fund cystic fibrosis research for children
Germany
- Human Services: Donated €500 ($650) to long-time charity partner of Würselen office; Employees raised more than $800 to host Bollywood dance party for children at orphanage; 18 employees improved facilities at Maria im Tann children and family center; Eight employees served breakfast and provided gifts to homeless on St. Nicolas’ Day

- Health: Raised $15,000 in holiday event for children’s hospital in Moscow
United Kingdom
- Human Services: Raised several hundred dollars for Red Nose Day in charity raffle and bake sale
- Health Raised £147 ($230) in charity raffle and bake sale for MacMillan Cancer Support; 15 employees raised $7,000 during Movember fundraiser for men’s health

- Health: Employees joined Hyderabad and Pune employees to donate 290 units of blood
- Human Services: 40 employees built homes with Habitat for Humanity; 25+ employees participated in charity run and raised 300,000 INR ($6500) for Snehadeep Trust for the Disabled

- Education: Donated school supplies and funds to NVIDIA-sponsored government primary school
- Health: Employees joined Bangalore and Pune employees to donate 290 units of blood; Provided youth with hygiene supplies and physical fitness exercises
