Employee Engagement

After nearly a decade, the Foundation made the difficult decision to end the Compute the Cure initiative, as we’re consolidating the Foundation’s resources to refocus in new areas.

JOINING THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER

Every NVIDIAN around the world wants cancer to be a thing of the past. The NVIDIA Foundation harnesses this spirit by providing opportunities for employees to get directly involved in fighting the disease. Offices worldwide rally employees to participate in walks, runs, and other fundraising activities for cancer-focused organizations.

FY18 HIGHLIGHTS

American Cancer Society

Raised more than $485,000 and named the top fundraising team in the U.S. for the American Cancer Society’s 2017 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. A team of nearly 800 NVIDIANs, family members, and friends participated.

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Netted more than $45,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through employees from three NVIDIA offices who participated in “Light the Night” five-kilometer walks.

Cancer-Focused Fundraising

Raised more than $30,000 for several cancer-focused organizations through a host of fundraising events held in offices around the world.

Additionally, the NVIDIA Foundation offers a Cancer Support Network, which connects employee volunteers who are cancer survivors with employees in need of support, whether they have cancer or are helping someone with the disease.
