Get noticed

Make sure that your resume aligns with the position you’re interested in and apply directly through our website or by using your LinkedIn profile. It’s OK to apply for the top five roles that best match your background.

Hear back

We’ll let you know when we’ve received your info and if there’s a match.

Connect

You’ll meet with the hiring manager, team members, and employees from other groups—by phone, video or in person. Depending on the role, you may have several interviews. If your skills and background match a different role, or if a new opportunity opens up during this process, you may be invited to interview for that position as well. During the final stage interview, you’ll have an opportunity to speak with a community resource group member as a part of our Insider Chat program.

Prepare

One-on-one, small group, or panel interviews usually last 30-60 minutes each. Prospects for technical roles may be asked to complete a coding exercise, which is usually done using Hackerrank on a whiteboard or laptop that we provide. The use of unapproved outside tools, such as ChatGPT, during the interview will result in the disqualification of candidacy.

Tap your recruiter

Get fast help with any suggestions or questions. And a tip: NVIDIANs tend toward business casual but wear what’s comfortable for you.

Wait for our decision

We’ll get back to you in a few short weeks with next steps.

Review your offer

If it’s a green light, you’ll receive your offer from the recruiter. If you accept, sign it and send it back and we’ll start your new hire onboarding.

Ideally, candidates who are selected to move forward will hear from our recruiting team within a couple of weeks of their application.

Reach out to an NVIDIA employee that you know and ask them to refer you through the internal job board. Then, watch for an email from NVIDIA-HR inviting you to complete your application. If there’s a match, we’ll contact you.

While there’s no official limit, we recommend that you limit your applications to the top three to five roles that best match your interests and experience. This will give you the best chance to be considered for roles that are relevant for you.

For assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, contact NVIDIA HR at 408-486-1405 or provide your contact information prior to your interview and we’ll contact you.

You’re welcome to explore multiple opportunities, but in the event that you are interviewing with multiple teams, feedback may be shared across teams. This is another reason that we recommend focusing on the roles you’re best qualified for.

Most candidates will have a decision within a matter of weeks from their first interview, but the process duration depends on a number of factors. We recommend being open and honest with the recruiting team about any timing concerns or deadlines so we can try to expedite if needed.

For full-time roles, you’ll typically be asked to participate in phone interviews, followed by virtual or in-person interviews. Some teams may have a slightly different process to better suit their requirements. Interns will typically complete phone interviews only.

An Insider Chat is an optional 15-minute meeting—offered to all candidates during the final interview—that doesn’t influence hiring decisions. This is an opportunity for you to meet with a Community Resource Group member and get to know NVIDIA culture.
