If you’re unable to work because you are ill or injured, NVIDIA provides a variety of benefits to support you so that you can focus on recovering, instead of worrying about how to pay your bills.
Depending on where you live, many plans work together to keep you financially covered while on leave of absence. When you file your disability claim, NVIDIA and the plan administrators will walk you through the benefits you're eligible for.
In general, leave payments falls into two categories:
A monthly benefit of 66 2/3 percent of base salary, up to a maximum of $15,000 per month
If you are injured while at work, you’re eligible for Workers’ Compensation benefits, which replace lost wages and pay for any medical treatment or rehabilitation necessary for you to return to work.
Workers’ Compensation payouts vary by state. For details pertaining to your state, contact HR-LOA@nvidia.com.
