Get a lump-sum payment on top of your normal health plan coverage in case you’re hospitalized due to an accident or illness. You have two coverage options—high and low. MetLife Accident Insurance pays benefits to you or your beneficiaries if you are seriously injured in an accident. You have two coverage options—high and low. How to Enroll

Enroll via the U.S. Benefits Enrollment Site. You can enroll or cancel coverage at any time. Coverage is effective the first of the month following enrollment.  Enrollment during our annual open enrollment period is effective January 1, the first day of the new plan year.
